I feel like I’d only just settled in with my Summer skin care routine, and now torrential downpours and icy winds have returned. Thank you ‘Autumn’ that feels more like Winter. As the season changes, of course your skincare tends to change as well – I’ll be covering some top serum staples for boosting hydration, resurfacing, adding radiance and a (does it all) Double-Extract.

bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion
If you have dull, lacklustre skin with texture issues, This may be the one for you.  It’s a fast-absorbing serum that gives glowing results instantly & then works to fortify the skins natural defences and keeps your complexion looking clearer, softer and hydrated with continuous use. I love this because It’s so lightweight and great for use in the mornings because It adds a glow to your skin pre-makeup.

Roger & Gallet Aura Mirabilis Double-Extract*
The all-rounder that can easily slip into everyone’s routine. This highly concentrated and very natural 18-plant Extract is perfecting and replenishing. It’s gentle enough that It doesn’t cause any breakouts or upset skin, but intense enough to smooth and plump skin quickly. I found Aura Mirabilis one of the easiest serums to get along with, no matter my skin concerns at the time. As well as having the most handy dispenser and gorgeous packaging I’ve seen to date – the distilled bi-phase formula really shines through as well. It targets EVERYTHING from fine lines and wrinkles to protecting from external aggression. If I had to recommend just one of my picks for you to try – It would be this! I’m currently using this daily and It’s made my skin supple, clear and bright. without a dry patch in sight, LOVE.

Grown Alchemist Antioxidant Treatment Serum
If you need a boost of hydration or sickness has played havoc with your skin – This is my go-to. I’ve recently been sick A LOT, one thing after another and every time my complexion has started to look really tired and dry, This serum has pulled through. It’s the heaviest in terms of texture of all my recommendations, But 2-3 drops at night leave my skin feeling refreshed and looking much more revitalised in every way the next morning.

Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment
This fixes a lot of texture concerns for me – Dry patches, breakouts or bumps. Whenever I apply a thin layer of this gel at night, It exfoliates and refines my skin, giving me a dewy and incredibly smooth complexion while I sleep. Winner right? I’ve also found that with continued use and less of an ‘overnight fix’ the INT helps any fine lines and visible pores that I have – When I used this daily throughout Summer my skin looked the best It ever has!

    • Ole is one of my all-time faves for skin care, Everything I’ve tried I’ve gotten on with really well! Couldn’t agree more 🙂

  • Oooh, I’m looking for a new serum, I’ve been using a mix of Pai’s Rosehip Oil and Sunday Riley’s Luna Oil! I love them both but I feel like branching out and trying something new!

    • I really want to try both of those, Especially the Luna Oil – Swoon. I get that feeling if I stick to the same product for too long, It’s always nice to seasonally switch it up 🙂

  • I love a good serum or facial oil. The weather right now is killing my skin, so I need to keep it well hydrated.

    • Me too! Something extra hydrating that I can just slather on :’)
